El manglar do Trancoso Brasil
The Mangrove of Trancoso, Brazil
El Manglar was born from the artist’s experience during a trip to Trancoso, Brazil, and from her encounter with the lush nature of this coastal landscape.
The work offers a free, expressive interpretation of the mangrove, where vegetation becomes an organic mass of deep greens, turquoises, yellows and blues. Gestural, layered brushstrokes convey the density of tropical nature, while small accents of red, white and black introduce contrast and moments of tension within the composition.
At the bottom, forms evoking roots and trunks reach up into dense foliage that seems to grow and spread across the canvas. The blue surrounding the mass of vegetation acts as a luminous counterpoint, suggesting the sky, the water and the atmosphere of the Brazilian landscape.
Rather than a literal depiction of a place, the painting seeks to capture the feeling of standing before a lush, humid, living nature. The paint itself, the movement of the brushstrokes and the intensity of colour turn the memory of the journey into a visual and emotional experience.
At 200 × 130 cm, the work has a monumental, enveloping presence that invites the viewer to come closer and explore its many layers of texture and colour.

El Cantero de flores
The Flower Bed
El Cantero de Flores presents an expressive, vibrant interpretation of a garden in full bloom. The composition is built from an abundant layering of brushstrokes, textures and colours, where deep greens, turquoises, yellows, violets, reds and oranges intertwine to create a sense of movement and vitality.
The flowers are not depicted in a strictly realistic way; they are suggested through shapes, patches of colour and energetic marks. The paint itself takes centre stage: thick, gestural brushstrokes add depth and give the surface a strong physical presence.
At the centre, flowers in pinks, reds and yellows stand out against the green background, creating contrasts that draw the eye across the whole canvas. Nature appears as an exuberant, spontaneous space full of energy.
